A very warm welcome to all new and existing members and visitors.

The ladies section celebrated its first Boarded Competitions in 1927, so we are a well established part of Selsey Golf Club.

Ladies of all age groups and abilities are welcomed to our beautiful links-like course and club house. We have a very friendly Section at Selsey and we enjoy both competitive and relaxed golf formats.

We are offering:-

• Medals, Stablefords, Greensomes, Foursomes, Better Balls, Texas Scrambles,
• Waltz, and Knock-Outs
• Friendly matches against local clubs
• Friendly Roll-ups

Our main competition day is on a Monday and occasionally we also play qualifying, non-qualifying and fun competitions on other days, so there are plenty of opportunities to join in for social/casual golf.

The Club has many internal mixed team events, friendly matches with other clubs and many social events throughout the year.

We are very keen to encourage new lady members and a very warm welcome awaits those joining Selsey Ladies Section. The Club Secretary and Ladies Committee are there to help new members settle in easily and quickly.

For those new to golf, or who have not played golf for some time and may be a bit rusty, ladies may wish to consider taking up lessons with our roving professional,  who can get you up to speed. If you are interested, please speak to the Captain and she will help you through the process. 

Becoming a member at Selsey Golf Club is quick and easy. All you need to do is select which membership will suit your lifestyle and playing habits and choose if you wish to pay annually in one lump sum, or pay monthly by direct debit. You can join and pay via the Country Club Office. 

Selsey Golf Club is fully supportive of the Women in Golf Charter launched by The R and A in May 2018 and supported by England Golf and other organisations from across the industry.

The purpose of the Charter is to  create an inclusive environment for women and girls within golf. In particular it aims to encourage more women and girls to play the game and join clubs and also to  inspire more families to enjoy golf as a group leisure activity.
