As a touring base Selsey has few equals. Locally there is the sea with some of the cleanest beaches in the UK and for bird watchers there is the renowned Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve (also close by, in Arundel, the Wildfowl Trust Reserve).

Just 8 miles away is the Cathedral City of Chichester with its Festival Theatre and attractive shopping centre. Further afield the attractions are many and varied: Goodwood with its Racecourse and Country House, Uppark House and Petworth, Portsmouth and Southsea with Museums, Sealife Centre and D Day Exhibition, Weald and Downland Museum, Fishbourne Roman Palace, Chichester Harbour, Arundel with its castle and attractive village to name but a few.

The seaside resorts of Bognor Regis and Littlehampton are within easy reach.
