Selsey Country Club is a Company Limited by Guarantee and does not have a Share Capital. The Company has no shareholders but each chalet owner becomes a member of the Company. Membership is restricted to one person for each chalet. Owning the chalet in two or more names is permissible, but only one of those named persons can be the member of the Selsey Country Club.
The Company owns the freehold of the whole complex which includes the Chalet Site and Selsey Golf Club, the total area being approximately 72 acres.
By purchasing a chalet here, you would become part-owner of the freehold of the whole complex and have a share in the assets of the Company.
You would wholly own the chalet itself and have the leasehold of the site upon which it stands. Currently expiring in 2019, the extension of the Lease will be sought by agreement of the members, in the
foreseeable future.
The chalets are detached and of cedar-clad construction and are well fitted, with one or two bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and toilet. Some have patios and storage units to enable patio furniture, cycles etc to be stored.
The chalets are sold as seen some completely furnished and competitively priced. The annual subscription covers running costs, staffing, administration and
